MVR College is celebrating Engineer's Day on September 15 as a mark of remembrance and tribute to the greatest Indian engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. he was chief engineer for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam on Kaveri river in Mysuru that created the biggest reservoir in Asia at that time. He was also the chief engineer of the flood protection system for Hyderabad and was also instrumental in developing a system to protect Visakhapatnam port from sea erosion.Their role in nation building is extremely vital.
